Fabric guide/Chiffon

Chiffon — considered occasion.

Translucent and weightless, chiffon catches light rather than holds it. It is the language of softer evenings and quieter celebrations.

Chiffon fabric

The cloth

Chiffon teaches restraint. There is no hiding inside it — every pleat shows, every fold registers. So we cut long, hem fine, and let the cloth carry itself.

Premium Chiffon is denser and more sculptural; Embroidery Chiffon adds the only ornament we permit ourselves — a hand-set border along the edge.

The family

Inside the chiffon family.

  • Premium Chiffon

Finer weave, denser hand, a more structured fall.

  • Printed Chiffon

Quiet prints set into the same airy base.

  • Embroidery Chiffon

    Hand-embroidered detail along the edge.

Character

How it wears.

Hand

Air, with structure.

Holds a pleat, falls in clean folds. Always worn over an undercap.

Light

Catches, never reflects.

A whisper of sheen under evening light — never glossy.

Wear

Softer occasions.

Evenings, gatherings, days that ask for a little more.

Season

Spring into late autumn.

Layer for warmth; wear single in summer.

Styling

Three quiet notes.

  1. 01

Always wear over a smooth undercap — chiffon needs grip.

  2. 02

Pin discreetly at the temple, never under the chin.

  3. 03

For occasion, let one end fall long down the back rather than wrapped.

Care

A long, quiet life.

Full care notes
  1. 01

Cold hand-wash only. No machine, no spin.

  2. 02

Press flat between towels; never wring.

  3. 03

Iron from the reverse with a pressing cloth, on the lowest setting.
