A long, quiet life.
Lannée pieces are made to live with you for years. A few small habits will keep the drape, color and softness exactly as the day you opened them.

Hand wash, cold water.
Cold water and a mild, pH-neutral detergent. Avoid bleach, fabric softeners and enzyme detergents — they shorten the life of botanical fibers.

Press, never wring.
Press the water out between two towels rather than wringing. This keeps the weave aligned and the edges true.

Lay flat to dry.
Dry flat on a clean towel, away from direct sun and heat. Hanging while wet can stretch chiffon and jersey out of shape.

Iron low, on the reverse.
If needed, iron on a low setting from the reverse side. Use a pressing cloth for printed and embroidered pieces.

Store folded, in shade.
Fold loosely and store in a drawer away from light. Avoid plastic bags — natural fibers prefer to breathe.
