Bamboo Ribbed Jersey is our answer to the question every modest dresser eventually asks: can a hijab be both breathable and substantial?

The yarn. We blend bamboo viscose with a touch of spandex for a knit that has body without weight, structure without stiffness. The ribbed weave gives it dimension — it's the difference between a hijab that drapes and one that holds its shape.

The texture. The fine vertical rib is the point. It reads as clothing, not as a cover. In natural light, the rib catches shadow the way a finely knit sweater does — quietly, not loudly.

The colours. Three shades chosen to work as a quiet foundation:

• French Sage — our signature green. Not pastel, not military. The colour you'll reach for when you don't know what to wear.
• Champagne Ivory — a soft, warm neutral that photographs beautifully in golden hour.
• Midnight — the workhorse. Holds its colour through dozens of washes.

The feel. Bamboo has a natural softness that gets better with washing. It's also one of the most breathable fibres we work with — cool in summer, warm in winter, kind to sensitive skin.

Made for the long year. Lannée (lah-nay) means "the year" in French. A ribbed knit is one of the few fabrics that genuinely improves with wear — softer, more broken-in, more yours.
