The Name

Lannée is French for "the year." We chose it because each piece is meant to live with you through the months ahead — not just a season. A hijab you reach for in March should still be the one you reach for in September. The Lan prefix also carries our family name, a quiet signature on everything we make.

Why Hijab

Hijab sits closest to your skin and to your day. It's the first thing you put on in the morning and the last thing you take off at night. We started Lannée because we wanted to give this daily ritual the same care that the rest of a considered wardrobe gets — without loud logos, without fast-fashion cycles, without compromise on the fabric that touches you.

What We Make

We work with three fabric families, each chosen for what it does best. Modal for the everyday — soft, matte, drapes close to the body. Jersey for movement — knit, breathable, four-way stretch. Chiffon for the moments that ask — weightless, refined, finished to drape without effort.

We work directly with a small set of trusted mills and our own production studio. We do not chase fashion cycles. We build a quiet, complete wardrobe that lasts.

How We Work

Lannée is a small team. Every order is packed by hand. Every email is read by a person. Every fabric decision is made by someone whose name you'd find on the box.

We don't do flashy discounts, countdowns, or "limited-time" banners. We price our pieces honestly — what the fabric, the cut, and the people behind it actually cost — and we keep our margins honest so we can keep doing this for years.
